Dr. McColl, Msc, phd
Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist, Co-Founder
Dr. McColl completed her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from McGill University (accredited by both CPA, APA, and is one of 14 programs with the PCSAS accreditation). She started her academic career with a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) from Queen’s University (First Class Honours) and a Master’s of Science in Psychology from Dalhousie University.
Dr. McColl specializes in the neuropsychological assessment of ADHD, learning disorders, mild traumatic brain injuries (concussions), epilepsy, post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD), memory loss, and cognitive changes associated with aging and peri-menopause. She offers empirically-supported treatments for anxiety, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, and coping with medical conditions and life stressors.
Dr. McColl completed her clinical internship in neuropsychology at the prestigious Montreal Neurological Institute. She also has extensive training in child clinical psychology and neuropsychology through the Montreal Children’s Hospital, where she worked in the Neurotrauma Clinic, Developmental Progress Clinic, Behavioral Pediatrics Group, and the Psychology Department. Her doctoral training includes working with adolescents and adults at the Jewish General Hospital (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Clinic, Herzl Family Practice Centre, and Behavioural Medicine Chronic Pain Clinic) as well as outpatient psychiatry at the Douglas Institute.
Dr. McColl has a robust research background in areas such as migraine headaches, visual perception, ADD/ADHD, concussions, clinical trial assessments, and women’s health. She has presented her research at national and international conferences. As a former scientific consultant, she has collaborated with leading pharmaceutical companies and key opinion leaders in Canada, the US, and Europe. Additionally, Dr. McColl has contributed to non-profit initiatives supporting children and schools in Indigenous communities. An experienced educator, Dr. McColl has taught psychology and research methods courses at McGill University, Dalhousie University, and the University of Toronto. She is tenured at Vanier College, where she continues to inspire students with her expertise in psychology and neuropsychology.

Dr. Ste-marie, phd
Child Psychologist/Pédopsychologue, Co-Founder
Dr. Ste-Marie is a highly skilled and compassionate psychologist with extensive expertise in supporting children, adolescents, and families. She holds both a master’s and doctorate in Educational Psychology from McGill University, specializing in School/Applied Child Psychology with a Minor in Applied Developmental Psychology. Her doctoral training included a rigorous internship at the Child Psychiatry Day Hospital Program of the Jewish General Hospital, where she gained invaluable experience working with children and their families in a multidisciplinary clinical setting.
Over her career, Dr. Ste-Marie has provided psychological services in a wide range of settings, including non-profit organizations, public and private schools, hospitals, and private practices. She has worked with children as young as six months to adolescents in high school, addressing a variety of developmental, learning, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Her work is deeply rooted in evidence-based practices, and she tailors her approach to the unique needs of each child and family.
Dr. Ste-Marie specializes in comprehensive psychological assessments for children and adolescents, identifying issues such as learning disabilities, ADHD, anxiety, and behavioral difficulties. She also provides individual therapy for children (12 years and under) and parental coaching, helping families navigate challenges and build strategies to support their child’s development and well-being.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Ste-Marie has conducted research on topics such as the impact of anxiety, social stress, and parenting styles on adolescent behavior. She has presented her findings at national and international conferences and has published in peer-reviewed journals, contributing to advancements in the field of child and adolescent psychology.
Dr. Zygmuntowicz, phd
Pediatric Psychologist
Dr. Zygmuntowicz is a pediatric psychologist specializing in the psychological and physical well-being of infants, children, and adolescents and their families. For over 15 years, she has had the privilege of working with families to find solutions that are individually tailored to their priorities while keeping the best interests of the child at the forefront of her work.
Dr. Zygmuntowicz’s expertise is in pediatric psychology (concerns related to medical and developmental issues), behavioural, and developmental assessment and therapy gleaned initially from doctoral-level training in school and applied child psychology from McGill University. Her training has included APA approved internship in the United States, international, local, and remote research, as well as internships in various local hospitals and schools. She continues to engage in regular education and teaching to stay abreast of current research and therapeutic techniques and share her knowledge.
Dr. Zygmuntowicz continues to work as a member of the team of psychologists at the Montreal Children’s Hospital where she has enjoyed more than 10 years specializing in child development and pediatric feeding disorders.
A sample of some of the work that Dr. Zygmuntowicz is typically involved with includes; adolescents with elevated stress, parent coaching (for behavioural concerns, parent role development/coping), feeding disorders of youth, helping individuals cope with anxiety/depression, managing tics, assessing and coping with ADHD, managing stress and difficult transitions including divorce, self-esteem, coping with medical issues, and assessment/intervention for difficult behaviour/symptoms (school/academic functioning, autism spectrum disorder, tantrums, anger/rage, impulsiveness, worry, sadness).
Jacqueline miller, m.Ed.
Psychologist
Ms. Jacqueline Miller received her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from McGill University. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at McGill University and was trained in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) under the supervision of the pioneer of CBT in Montreal, Dr. Michael Spevack (affiliated with the McGill University Health Centre). She has been a tenured faculty member of the Psychology Department at Vanier College for over 20 years and has been a regular guest on Dr. Laurie Betito’s CJAD 800 iHeart Talk Radio show, “Passion with Doctor Laurie”.
She has over 20 years of experience helping adolescents and adults address issues of anxiety, including generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder and phobias. She also specializes in the treatment of depression, PTSD, and performance anxiety. More recently, she has developed a keen interest in working with the elderly to address their unique emotional and psychological concerns.
Ms. Miller’s training and treatment methods are both evidence-based and culturally sensitive. She brings a deep awareness and sensitivity to the needs and concerns of vulnerable populations. Her therapeutic approach combines empathy with solution-focused strategies to promote meaningful change in her clients’ lives.
Ms. Miller has a wealth of experience developing and facilitating group workshops in the areas of stress management, performance anxiety, career development, and cultural diversity and wellness practices in the workplace.
JIE CHANG, m.A.
Doctoral Candidate in Psychology, Registre des Étudiants et des Candidats à l'Admission de L'Ordre des Psychologues du Québec
Ms. Chang is currently in the final stages of her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at Concordia University. Her clinical training included conducting neuropsychological assessments for adult attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), evaluating memory-related concerns in older adults, and assessing cognitive functioning in adults who have suffered brain injuries. She has gained clinical experiences at several major training hospitals in Montreal, including the Allan Memorial Institute, Jewish General Hospital, and Montreal General Hospital.
More recently, Ms. Chang completed her pre-doctoral internship in Clinical Neuropsychology at Hamilton Health Sciences' outpatient and rehabilitation units, where she worked with adult clients presenting with diverse cognitive concerns, particularly following diagnoses of brain injury, stroke, or other neurological conditions. Having conducted both cognitive evaluations and psychotherapy with her clients, Jie believes that cognitive health is just as important as mental health, with both jointly contributing to well-being in everyday life. As such, she strives to help her clients better understand their cognitive strengths and challenges. Given Jie's doctoral research in the area of cultural-clinical psychology, she also values integrating each client’s unique sociocultural experiences into their work together, including in the understanding of cognitive functioning.
She is a registered student member of the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec and practices under the supervision of Dr. McColl.
